VIETNAM AT A GLIMPSE 7 DAYS
Saigon-CuChi tunnels-Mekong Delta-Hanoi & Ha Long Bay
DAY 1: SAIGON ARRIVAL (-/-/-)
Warmly welcome and pick up from Tan Son Nhat airport then transfer to the hotel in Saigon. Free at leisure and overnight at the hotel in Saigon.
DAY 2: SAIGON – CU CHI TUNNELS (B/-/-)
AM: After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a morning drive through typical southern Vietnamese countryside to Cu Chi district. Upon arrival at Cu Chi, we will start to experience ourselves the underground village of Cu Chi guerrilla fighters, the remain of a real bloody battle field which is simply a network of tunnels built during the long years of wars. The visit will be led by a VC veteran.
PM: Return to Saigon to enjoy a half day city tour at Saigon with visit at Reunification hall, the Binh Tay market in ChinaTown, Thien Hau temple and a lacquer workshop. Overnight at the hotel in Saigon.
DAY 3: MEKONG DELTA TOUR (B/L/-)
AM: After breakfast at the hotel, pick up, and transfer to My Tho. Enjoy a boat ride in MekongRiver. You will have chance to walk and see orchard, rice paper making, rice crispiest producing process. Have lunch with tropical fruits. Then boat through a village to see peaceful tranquil life of locals there, admired marvelous natural setting of Mekong Delta region.
PM: Return to Saigon. Overnight at the hotel in Saigon.
DAY 4: SAIGON – HANOI (B/-/-)
AM: Pick up and transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for the flight to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam with tree-lined streets and centuries-old temples. Our tour guide in Hanoi will pick up and transfer to hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi.
PM: Enjoy a sightseeing tour with visit at the temple of Literature, Ethnology museum and HoanKiemLake. The sightseeing day ends with a water puppet show.
Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 5: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B/L/-)
AM: After breakfast at the hotel, pick up and transfer to HalongBay. You will have chance to enjoy the beautiful landscape of Red River Delta. Have a short visit at a ceramic and hand embroidery workshop.
PM: 12:00 Check in board,
13:30: Enjoy a fantastic cruise in HalongBay, visit exotic islets with shape of Dog, Incense Urn, Sail, and Fighting Cocks, which are naturally formed by process of erosion between the sea water and lime stone mountains. Visit Thien Cung Cave, Dau Go Cave.
Lunch is served on board. Arrive at Halong dock, transfer back to Hanoi. On the way back, short visit at Hai Duong province to buy local specialty. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 6: HANOI DEPARTURE (B/-/-)
Free at leisure to visit the old quarter of Hanoi, go shopping at Trang Tien plaza and Dong Xuan market, the biggest local market in Hanoi.
Pick up and transfer to the airport for flight home.
